Tenant Participation
Tenant participation is one of the ways we encourage you to have say in how we manage your homes.
Here at Crown Housing Association we feel as though we have a good relationship with our tenants. However, we use tenant participation, or tenant involvement (if you prefer) to help us know what our customers think about us and how we could improve the services we offer you.
Some things we cannot do, like we cannot not collect rents, or not carry out gas servicing but perhaps you have suggestions or comments about how we do something which would make it better, for example, the wording of our arrears letter or the information about gas servicing.
We are always keen to listen to tenants ideas about how they would like to be involved, and we are currently recruiting Resident Site Inspectors. These are people who are available during the office day to sign off job sheets for works carried out to communal areas, and confirm the cleaners and gardeners have fulfilled their obligations on our works schedules. (It's not as complicated as it sounds and it would only take a matter of minutes a month - honestly) if you are at all interested please let us know!
We are also thinking about holding the following events on estates or in our office if we get enough interest. Please let us know if you would want to come to any of the events.
Easter Egg hunt and boiled egg painting competition - in the Easter school holidays.
The Big Lunch - Sunday 18 July 2010 (more information)
The World's Biggest Coffee Morning - Friday 24 September 2010 (more information)
Please let us know if you have any other ideas....
