Emergency repairs

These are repairs which are considered necessary to prevent serious damage to the building, danger to health, risk to safety, or risk of serious loss or damage.

Do not use the website online service to report an emergency repair.

If you are in sheltered or amenity housing, pull the cord.

If you are in general needs housing, please telephone the appropriate contractor or refer to your tenant handbook:

Before using this service, please check below to see if your repair is classified as an emergency.

  • serious water leak inside your home
  • insecure ground floor window or external door
  • serious electrical fault
  • complete breakdown of heating system 1st October - 31st March
  • blocked toilet (where no other toilet available) or drain

If you report a repair to a contractor out of hours which is not an emergency, you will be recharged the cost of the repair plus an Admin fee.

You must inform the Association on the next working day that you have had an emergency repair.
