We have a leaflet advisinf tenants how to plan for escape in an emergency when a fire is present.  We would encourage all tenants to have a fire action plan in place and for all members of the family to know what it is and what to do should a fire occur.

BEKO and LEC Fridge Freezers

The London Fire Brigade (Link 1 below) have identified a link between a faulty defroster timer switch on a number of BEKO and LEC fridge freezers and they have caused a number fires.

This relates to particular models of BEKO fridge freezers which were manufactured between January 2000 and October 2006. Further details of the affected products can be found on the Trading Standards Institute website (Link 2 below). The same alert applies to the LEC TF2304W in white. These were manufactured between January 2004 and October 2006 (Link 3 below).
